Coaches Certification Requirements and Links

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. All Coaches: Head Coach and Assistants must be registered via the website, sign a Coaches Contract, and agree to a background check.
  2. All Coaches and Assistants: Must complete USA Heads Up Football Level 1 Certification.
  3. Head Coach and at least 1 Asst. Coach: Must complete a CPR/First Aide class.  Please give a copy of the certificate to the Registrar for inclusion in the Team Book.
  4. All Safety Coaches: Must complete concussion training.  Click on this link and you will be taken to a training website.  The training takes approximately 15-20 minutes.  Once there, click on the register link and then complete the training.  Give a copy to the Registrar for inclusion in the Team Book.  NOTE: All Head Coaches and Assistants do not need to go through this because this training is already part of of your USA Heads Up Football Certification.

HOUSEKEEPING ITEMS

  1. Each team most provide: 
    1. Team Parent
    2. Weighmaster(s)
    3. Play Plotter/Tracker
    4. Field Greeter

REMINDERS

  1. A minimum of two certificate holding coaches are REQUIRED to be on the field (both practice and games) at all times.
  2. Coaches must take the training and print the certificate of completion for inclusion in the Team Book.
