How to volunteer :

  1. SIGN UP FOR EVENT USING THE SIGN UP GENIUS LINK
    NOTE : when signing up to volunteer please make sure you list your tackle player name & their grade to get credited for your volunteer hours
     
  2. SUMBIT YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK SCREENING 
    - link is on the Sign Up Genius website. In the description click "background check" for the application.
    -once submitted this process can take 1-2 weeks. Please complete ASAP.
    ALL volunteers must have a cleared background check before they can participate in an event or be on the field
     
  3. CHECK IN / CHECK OUT . Please make sure on the day of the event, you sign in and out at the designated location to help log your volunteer hours. We will give more info prior to game days.

2025 Tackle/Flag Team Parent Sign ups (TBA)

  • Sign up here to be the Team Parent. Help minimize the communications gap  between the board, coaches & families. Stay connected. Communicate with your Head Coach, our Registrar or Social Media Director for updates / changes.
     

game Day volunteer sign ups:

  • Final game schedules will be released late August/first week of September. Please check back SOON as we continue to update our website.


Game Day volunteer positions:
 

Help needed during home games @ Hare field :
 

  • Field Setup/Teardown (Flag/Tackle)
  • Field Greeters
  • Concessions
  • Game Announcers
  • Scoreboard Operator
     

Required volunteers needed for tackle:
 

  • Play Plotters -  (1-2 people) needed for all games. communicates with head coach. counting players have met the minimum required play count via paper/app. 

  • Chain Gang - (3 people)  needed for away games only. Holds the markers on our sideline.  Follows instructions from game officials.
     

other volunteer positions needed during the season:
 

  • Weigh Masters - (for tackle only). Training is provided. Teams can have two Weigh Masters per team to help assist during games.
     
  • Team Parents - (flag/tackle). Assist in communication with their coaches & GYF Board. Help gather items for team baskets for Golf Tournament Fundraiser due in September. 
     
  • Videographer/Photographer - each tackle team is allowed one (1) photographer on their sideline and one (1) videographer in the announcer's box. They will need to be registered & have a cleared background check.
