VOLUNTEER FEE/HOURS REQUIRED:

As stated in your online registration form agreement, volunteer fees are due at registration. 

Kinder - 2nd Grade :  Volunteer Fee - $50 / 4 hours of volunteering

3rd - 6th Grade : Volunteer fee - $100 / 6 hours of volunteering

Families registering multiple players will only need to pay for one (1) Volunteer Fee per family. 

These hours can be accumulated throughout the entire football season.

If you have multiple kids in our program

Example : You have one kid playing tackle and another kid playing flag, you will only need to work minimum total of (8) eight hours of volunteer work throughout the season. 
 

VOLUNTEER FEE REIMBURSEMENT

If you complete the minimum requirement of volunteer hours then you will be refunded for your entire Volunteer Fee at the end of the season. 

Hours worked will be tracked & verified by our Volunteer Director. Please make sure you get your background check done, use our Sign Up Genius link & sign in / out during your shifts to be credited.

Each season our youth program relies on volunteers from our Tide  Community. As our kids grow & families age out we are constantly looking to build new relationships & help train our next successor. 

• As the season draws near we will post our volunteer link from Sign Up Genius here, social media or an email from Sports Engine so we can log and credit you your time.
• Once you sign up, please complete the background check ASAP. Background checks takes time to process & must be cleared before you can be on the field.
• Families can have grown ups or high school students help volunteer. Students who are 9th-12 grade, do not need a background check.
• Volunteering hours can be earned at any flag / tackle event  such as ; preseason, game days or fundraising events.
• Please estimate to help about 1-2 hours of volunteering per shift. We will do our best to communicate as we receive the schedules and events as they come.
• Flag and Tackle families can sign up to volunteer at any GYF event / game to earn their hours. 
   

GAME DAY HELP

This season we will be hosting four (4) home games at Hare Field.

No experience needed. We will give you instructions on tasks & responsibilities. 

We will have a summer meeting for those interested in helping during game days as the season draws near. 
 

HOME GAMES VOLUNTEERS needed 

• Concessions (high school students do not need a background check)
• Clock Operator
• Field Setup/Field Change/Breakdown
• Field Greeters
• Weigh Masters (tackle)

(TAckle ONLY) AWAY GAME VOLUNTEERS are required or we forfeit

• Chain Gang (3 people)
• Play Plotter (1-2 people)
• Weigh Masters (1-2 people for the entire season, must be available on game days)

Other volunteer sign ups

• Preseason : tackle camp registration, equipment handout/return
  • Join one of our fundraising committees (prep / or help the day of)
  • Annual Golf Tournament, Sept. 5th
  • Family Bingo Night / Silent Auction, Sept. 18th
